ASRA/New Jersey MiniGP Joins Mission Mini Cup Qualifiers
MotoAmerica has announced that ASRA and New Jersey MiniGP will host a qualifying round for the 2026 Mission Mini Cup National Final, expanding the grassroots development program. This partnership provides young riders in the Northeast an opportunity to earn bonus points and prepare for the national championship. The Mission Mini Cup series is a crucial youth development ladder for aspiring professional racers.
MotoAmerica, the premier motorcycle road racing series in North America, has revealed that ASRA and New Jersey MiniGP are now part of the growing list of organizations hosting qualifying rounds for the 2026 Mission Mini Cup National Final. This collaboration strengthens MotoAmerica's nationwide grassroots development program, offering young riders in the Northeast a chance to compete and gain valuable experience.
Chuck Aksland, COO of MotoAmerica, expressed appreciation for Alex Spellman, President of ASRA, and the New Jersey MiniGP team for their involvement. He highlighted that this qualifier allows young racers to earn 10 bonus points towards the National Final, fostering competition and development.
The Mission Mini Cup program is designed for riders aged six to 16, featuring several classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. These include Stock 50 (ages 6-8), Stock 110 (ages 8-12), GP 110 (ages 10-14), GP 160 (10-14), and GP 190 (12-16). This series serves as MotoAmerica's official youth development pathway, providing a proving ground for the sport's future professional talent. While this particular qualifier is in the Northeast, the overall Mission Mini Cup program is an excellent opportunity for young riders across the country to hone their skills and potentially advance in the sport.
