Bulega Leads WorldSBK Practice in Hungary

Nicolò Bulega of Aruba.It Racing – Ducati set the fastest time in the final practice session for the FIM Superbike World Championship at Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary. His teammate, Iker Lecuona, secured the second-best time, closely followed by Lorenzo Baldassarri. American rider Garrett Gerloff finished 14th in the session.
Nicolò Bulega demonstrated strong form by topping the final Free Practice 3 session of the FIM Superbike World Championship at Hungary's Balaton Park Circuit. Riding his Aruba.It Racing – Ducati Panigale V4R on Pirelli tires, the Italian rider navigated the 2.53-mile track with an impressive lap time of 1:38.339, leading a field of 22 competitors.
His teammate, Iker Lecuona, also showed competitive pace, securing the second position with a lap of 1:38.473. Lorenzo Baldassarri, on his Team Goeleven Ducati Panigale V4R, rounded out the top three, posting a time of 1:38.603.
Further down the leaderboard, Danilo Petrucci, riding for ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, placed 13th with a 1:39.533. Of particular interest to many American racing fans, Garrett Gerloff, piloting his Kawasaki ZX-10RR, finished 14th in the session with a time of 1:39.649. This final practice sets the stage for what promises to be an exciting weekend of WorldSBK action.
