Mason Semmens finished a close second, maintaining his lead in the series points, while Justin Hoeft rounded out the Pro 450 podium. The race featured a new joker lane, adding an interesting tactical element to the competition.
The 2026 WORCS Racing Series recently held its third round, the Island Invasion GP, at Lake Havasu. This event introduced a new element: a joker lane for Sunday's pro motos, which added an intriguing twist to the racing dynamics. Despite this, familiar names ultimately dominated the top positions.
In the Pro 450 class, Dare DeMartile delivered a strong performance to claim his first victory of the season. Mason Semmens, who finished just behind DeMartile in second place, successfully held onto his lead in the overall series points standings. The final podium spot went to Justin Hoeft, who finished ahead of Tyler Lynn in fourth and Giacomo Redondi in fifth.
Tyler Lynn initially grabbed the holeshot and led the early stages of the race, also setting the fastest lap time. However, Lynn is still recovering from a wrist injury sustained earlier in the season, and the notoriously rough Havasu course proved challenging, forcing him to manage his pace and focus on salvaging valuable points. DeMartile eventually took control of the lead, demonstrating consistent lap times throughout the race to secure his well-deserved win. For riders who enjoy following national off-road racing, this series continues to offer exciting competition.
