Di Giannantonio Claims Pole Position in Brazil MotoGP

Fabio Di Giannantonio secured pole position at the MotoGP qualifying in Brazil, marking his first pole since 2022. Riding a Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Ducati, he outpaced Marco Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez in a dramatic session. This sets the stage for an exciting race weekend at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna.
Fabio Di Giannantonio, riding for Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing on his Ducati Desmosedici GP26, clinched pole position during the MotoGP qualifying session in Brazil. The Italian rider posted a blistering 1:17.410 lap time on the 2.38-mile (3.84 km) Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna circuit. This impressive performance not only topped the 22-rider field but also marked his first pole position since 2022.
The qualifying session was a dramatic affair, with Di Giannantonio advancing from Q1 to secure the top spot. He even had a crash on a lap that potentially could have been even faster, highlighting the intensity of the competition.
Joining him on the front row will be Marco Bezzecchi, also a Q1 graduate, who secured second place with a 1:17.480 on his Aprilia Racing RS-GP26. Veteran rider Marc Marquez, on his Lenovo Team Ducati Desmosedici GP26, rounded out the front row in third with a 1:17.491, despite an earlier crash during his first run.
The second row features Monster Energy Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo, who put in a strong performance to qualify fourth with a 1:17.561. He is joined by Jorge Martin, Bezzecchi’s teammate, in fifth (1:17.630), and Trackhouse Aprilia’s Ai Ogura in sixth (1:17.702). This lineup promises a thrilling race for motorcycle enthusiasts, offering plenty of action for those following the MotoGP season.
