Ducati's Century Mark Honored with Italian Postage Stamp

The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy has issued a special postage stamp commemorating Ducati's 100th anniversary. This philatelic tribute recognizes the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer's significant contributions to Italian industry and its global promotion of 'Made in Italy' excellence in motorcycling. The stamp features an iconic Ducati motorcycle, symbolizing the company's rich history and deep connection to its Italian roots.
Italian motorcycle giant Ducati is being celebrated by its home country with a special postage stamp, marking its upcoming centenary in 2026. The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) dedicated this stamp as part of its 'Excellence of the Production System and Made in Italy' series, honoring companies that have significantly contributed to Italy's development and innovation.
The stamp's design prominently features an iconic Ducati motorcycle, the Superleggera V4 Centenario Tricolore, artfully intersected by the colors of the Italian flag. This imagery powerfully symbolizes Ducati's identity and its profound connection to Italian creativity, technological innovation, and tradition.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, highlighted during the official presentation that 'Made in Italy' is integral to the company's identity. He noted that Ducati's blend of tradition and innovation has established a distinctive vision for technology, design, and performance on the international stage. Founded in 1926 in Borgo Panigale, Ducati has evolved from its early days in radio technology to become a global leader in motorcycling and motorsport, guided by values of style, sophistication, and performance. This recognition by the Italian State underscores Ducati's enduring legacy and its status as a global benchmark in the motorcycle industry. This is not the first time Ducati has been honored philatelically, having received a stamp in 2022 for its MotoGP World Championship success.
