Hawk Mazzotta Moto Camp has joined MotoAmerica's Mission Mini Cup program, hosting four qualifying events for the 2026 National Final. These qualifiers offer young riders in California an opportunity to earn bonus points and gain experience in the youth development series. The initiative aims to nurture the next generation of road racing talent.
MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, has announced that Hawk Mazzotta Moto Camp will host four qualifiers for the 2026 Mission Mini Cup National Final. This addition expands MotoAmerica’s nationwide grassroots development program, specifically offering young riders in California more opportunities to compete.
Chuck Aksland, COO of MotoAmerica, highlighted the importance of Hawk Mazzotta Moto Camp's commitment, noting that these events provide multiple chances for young racers to earn 10 bonus points towards the National Final in August. The Mission Mini Cup program is a crucial youth development ladder, designed to identify and train future professional motorcycle racers.
The program caters to riders aged six to 16 across several classes: Stock 50 (ages 6-8), Stock 110 (ages 8-12), GP 110 (ages 10-14), GP 160 (10-14), and GP 190 (12-16). These classes serve as a proving ground, allowing young talent to hone their skills and gain competitive experience in a structured environment. While these events are focused on California riders, the broader Mission Mini Cup series is something that could interest aspiring young racers across the country, including those from Arkansas, looking to break into professional road racing.
