KTM & Husqvarna Extend Warranty to Most Street Bikes

KTM and Husqvarna are expanding their four-year warranty coverage to almost all street-legal motorcycles, effective with 2025 model-year machines. This free Premium Manufacturer's Warranty, which is fully transferable, aims to provide greater peace of mind for riders, provided all scheduled services are performed by an authorized dealership.
KTM and its sister company, Husqvarna, have announced a significant expansion of their warranty program, now offering a four-year Premium Manufacturer's Warranty on nearly all street-legal motorcycles. This extended coverage begins with the 2025 model-year bikes, including those already in dealer inventory or previously sold, as long as all warranty conditions are met.
This move builds upon an earlier initiative from winter 2025, which first introduced the four-year warranty for KTM's LC8c parallel twin and LC8 V-twin engine models. The updated policy now encompasses a much broader range of their street-legal lineup. This means popular models like KTM's 390-series and 690-series singles, as well as Husqvarna's 401-series and 701-series singles, are expected to be covered. The only exclusions are street-legal enduro models (like the EXC-F series) and track-only bikes.
For riders, this extended warranty offers enhanced security and value, as it is free of charge and fully transferable. However, it is crucial to note that to maintain the full four-year duration, all scheduled maintenance must be performed by an authorized dealership in accordance with the official service schedule for each machine. Riders with specific questions about their models or service requirements should consult their local authorized dealership for the most accurate information.
