Mission CTR Showcase Series Paves Way to AFT

The Mission CTR Showcase Series offers a pathway for aspiring flat track racers to reach American Flat Track (AFT). The series launched with a successful event at Daytona, featuring top amateur talent and MotoAmerica racers, and is set to continue at Senoia Raceway.
The Mission CTR Showcase Series is designed to serve as a crucial stepping stone, dubbed the 'Road to AFT,' for flat track competitors aiming for the American Flat Track professional circuit. The series kicked off with a two-day event at the Daytona Flat Track, coinciding with Daytona Bike Week, and saw participation from several MotoAmerica racers, including Twins Cup competitor Sam Drane and Talent Cup racer Jake Paige.
The inaugural event at Daytona showcased a blend of seasoned amateur talent and rising stars. Ryder Bitz-Hay, a Californian, secured the first 'Road to AFT' victory of the year with a dominant wire-to-wire performance. Australian rider Sam Drane, who also competed in MotoAmerica's Twins Cup, had a strong showing, winning both the 450 Amateur and Open Amateur Main Events, along with the Mission Challenge Dash for Cash. The event provided a platform for these riders to demonstrate their skills on a track known for its rich racing history.
Following its successful launch, the series is scheduled to continue on Friday, March 20th, at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia. This initiative by Cory Texter Promotions aims to foster new talent and provide a clear progression path for riders in the flat track discipline, offering them valuable exposure and experience. For riders interested in the future of flat track racing, these showcase events are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
