Adventure motorcycle enthusiasts looking for new horizons can now access a fresh collection of free GPS files for routes spanning Canada's Atlantic provinces. These newly mapped routes cover New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia, providing extensive options for exploring the region's diverse terrain.
While Prince Edward Island is small, the new route promises to unveil hidden dirt roads and unique spots often missed by conventional tourists. New Brunswick offers extensive logging roads, a significant advantage over privately controlled forestry lands in other regions, inviting riders to discover its backcountry lanes. Nova Scotia's routes, including those through Cape Breton, are emphasized as being accessible for larger adventure bikes, though dual-sport riders can always branch off for more technical challenges.
These routes are part of an ongoing project, currently in a beta stage, and are freely available for download. They are distributed through the Maritime ADV Riders Association Facebook page and come in both KML and GPX formats, making them widely compatible with GPS devices. This initiative provides a fantastic resource for planning an adventure ride, potentially inspiring riders to explore a part of North America known for its scenic beauty and varied landscapes.
