Ogura Tops MotoGP Practice in Goiânia
Ai Ogura demonstrated strong form by leading Saturday's Free Practice Two at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia, Brazil, ahead of a competitive MotoGP field. Riding his Aprilia Trackhouse machine, Ogura posted the fastest lap, closely followed by Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin.
Ai Ogura set the pace during Saturday morning's Free Practice Two (FP2) at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna in Brazil. Piloting his Aprilia Trackhouse RS-GP26 on spec Michelin tires, Ogura recorded a swift lap time of 1:18.237, positioning himself at the top of the 22-rider lineup.
Close behind Ogura was Marc Marquez, who secured the second-fastest time with a 1:18.248 aboard his Lenovo Team Ducati Desmosedici GP26. The competition remained tight at the top, with Jorge Martin claiming third place, just a fraction of a second slower at 1:18.405 on his Aprilia Racing RS-GP26.
Francesco Bagnaia, Marquez’s teammate, finished the session in fourth position with a lap time of 1:18.518. Rounding out the top five was Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Pedro Acosta, who posted a respectable 1:18.616. This early practice session indicates a closely contested weekend for the MotoGP riders, promising exciting racing for fans.
