MotoAmerica, the premier motorcycle road racing series in North America, has announced that Ohvale USA will host three qualifiers for the 2026 Mission Mini Cup National Final. This addition significantly bolsters MotoAmerica's nationwide grassroots development program, providing young riders in Southern California with crucial opportunities to hone their skills and accumulate bonus points ahead of the season's biggest Mini Cup event.
Chuck Aksland, COO of MotoAmerica, expressed appreciation for Ohvale USA's commitment, noting their dedication to the sport's future. He highlighted the collaboration between former champion John Hopkins and Ohvale USA as a positive step in growing the sport and establishing a clear path for racers to reach the National Final.
The Mission Mini Cup program is designed as an official youth development ladder for MotoAmerica, serving as a proving ground for future professional talent. It features various classes catering to different age groups and skill levels:
* Stock 50 (ages 6-8)
* Stock 110 (ages 8-12)
* GP 110 (ages 10-14)
* GP 160 (10-14)
* GP 190 (12-16)
This initiative is vital for nurturing young riders and providing them with a structured environment to develop their racing abilities. While these specific qualifiers are on the West Coast, the broader Mission Mini Cup program is a national effort to identify and develop talent across the country, which is something riders and racing enthusiasts everywhere, including those in Arkansas, can appreciate for its long-term impact on the sport.
