Real Steel Honda Announces Multi-Class MotoAmerica Effort for 2026
Real Steel Honda is set to return to the MotoAmerica series for the 2026 season with a comprehensive multi-class program. The team will compete in Superbike and Superbike Cup with Hayden Gillim and Andrew Lee, respectively, while also expanding its Talent Cup presence with young riders Ian Fraley and Derek Sanchez King.
Real Steel Honda is gearing up for an exciting 2026 MotoAmerica season, fielding a robust multi-class effort that includes entries in Superbike, Superbike Cup, and Talent Cup. Hayden Gillim will once again pilot the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP in the Superbike class, aiming to build on his experience from the previous year.
Joining Gillim is Andrew Lee, the 2025 Stock 1000 Champion, who will compete in the Superbike Cup aboard a Honda Fireblade SP. This expansion highlights the team's commitment to competitive racing across different categories.
In a move to nurture future talent, Real Steel Honda is also growing its Talent Cup program to two riders. Ian Fraley will be joined by Derek Sanchez King, the recipient of the 2024 Nicky Hayden AMA Road Race Horizon Award, indicating a strong focus on developing young racers.
The Talent Cup season is scheduled to kick off at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. Superbike and Superbike Cup action will begin later in April at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, which will also host the second round of the Talent Cup Championship.
