Royal Enfield BTR Program Returns for Sixth Season
The all-female Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. (BTR) program is set to return for its sixth consecutive year within the 2026 MotoAmerica Championship. This unique series features 10 female riders who build and race their own Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycles across four rounds, providing a national platform for women in road racing.
The Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. (BTR) program continues its impressive run, confirming its return for the 2026 MotoAmerica Championship season. This marks the sixth consecutive year for the pioneering all-female road racing series, which will feature an eight-race schedule spread across four rounds.
BTR stands out by having its 10 selected female riders actively participate in the build process. Each racer transforms a stock Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 into a race-ready machine. This involves installing custom Royal Enfield bodywork and upgrading critical components such as suspension, braking, and exhaust systems. This hands-on approach, combined with professional rider coaching, empowers participants and showcases their mechanical and riding talents on a national stage.
Adrian Sellers, Royal Enfield Head – Custom & Motorsport, highlighted the program's significance, stating, "The BTR program has evolved into a vital pillar of our racing identity... MotoAmerica’s global reach provides the perfect platform for BTR to thrive." He emphasized that the series' genuine passion and support for women in racing align well with MotoAmerica's diverse programs.
The 2026 BTR season roster will comprise six newly selected riders and four returning competitors from the 2025 season, ensuring a blend of fresh talent and experienced racers. The championship kicks off at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (April 17-19), followed by rounds at Road America (May 29-31), The Ridge Motorsports Park (June 26-28), and concludes at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (July 31-August 2).
