Royal Enfield's 'Ready to Ride' Program Targets New Riders

Royal Enfield has launched a "Ready to Ride" program in the UK to attract new motorcyclists, aiming to simplify the process of learning to ride and acquiring a middleweight bike. The initiative provides riding schools with Guerrilla 450 motorcycles and offers a comprehensive monthly payment plan covering the bike, gear, and licensing costs.
Royal Enfield is implementing an ambitious "Ready to Ride" program in the UK, designed to make motorcycling more accessible for new riders. This initiative is part of the brand's larger goal to significantly increase its global motorcycle sales.
The program begins by supplying Royal Enfield's middleweight Guerrilla 450 motorcycles to riding schools. These bikes are specifically chosen for their suitability as A2 license training vehicles, offering a manageable seat height and appealing scrambler aesthetics. While only a few training centers currently have these bikes, Royal Enfield plans to expand their distribution.
Beyond training, the "Ready to Ride" program partners with CA Auto Finance UK to address the financial barriers faced by new riders. It offers a single, streamlined monthly payment plan that encompasses the cost of the motorcycle, necessary riding gear, and licensing fees. This approach aims to simplify the initial investment, which often includes various separate expenses that can deter prospective riders. The only major cost not covered by this plan is insurance.
According to Davide Mamdouh of CA Auto Finance UK, the program seeks to remove the complexity and upfront costs associated with getting into motorcycling, making the dream of owning a Royal Enfield a more attainable reality for a new generation of riders. This comprehensive strategy could be a significant factor in bringing more individuals into the motorcycling community, particularly those who might otherwise be intimidated by the initial hurdles.
