Utah SuperBike Joins Mission Mini Cup Qualifier Ranks

MotoAmerica has announced that Utah SuperBike will host three qualifiers for the 2026 Mission Mini Cup National Final, expanding the youth development program's reach. This initiative provides young riders aged six to 16 in various classes an opportunity to earn bonus points and prepare for the national championship. The Mini Cup series is crucial for developing future professional motorcycle racers.
MotoAmerica, North America's premier motorcycle road racing series, continues to bolster its grassroots development program with the addition of Utah SuperBike as a host for 2026 Mission Mini Cup National Final qualifiers. This move provides riders in Utah and surrounding states with more opportunities to compete, earn bonus points, and gain valuable experience for the biggest Mini Cup event of the season.
Chuck Aksland, MotoAmerica COO, expressed appreciation for Utah SuperBike's commitment, noting that Vice President Jeff Taylor and his team already run a successful racing series. Hosting these qualifiers offers multiple chances for young racers to secure the 10 available bonus points for the National Final scheduled for August.
The Mission Mini Cup program is designed for riders aged six to 16, featuring several classes including Stock 50 (ages 6-8), Stock 110 (ages 8-12), GP 110 (ages 10-14), GP 160 (10-14), and GP 190 (12-16). These classes serve as a vital proving ground, fostering the talents of the sport's next generation of professional riders. Riders like Chip Lampley, a Colorado-based competitor, showcased his potential in last year's National Final, achieving podium finishes in the Stock 50 class. This expansion of the Mini Cup program is a positive development for youth motorcycle racing across the country.
