Zarco Leads MotoGP Practice in Brazil, Razgatlioglu Impresses

Johann Zarco set the fastest time during Friday's MotoGP World Championship practice session at Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna in Brazil, navigating mixed conditions. Marc Marquez secured the second-fastest lap, while Toprak Razgatlioglu made a strong impression by finishing third, securing his spot in Q2 despite the challenging, rain-affected afternoon.

Johann Zarco, riding for Castrol Honda LCR, topped the MotoGP practice charts on Friday at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Frenchman recorded a swift 1:21.257 lap time on his RC213V, leading the 22-rider field at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna.

The day saw mixed weather conditions, with rain impacting the afternoon session, adding an extra layer of challenge for the competitors. Marc Marquez, on his Lenovo Ducati Desmosedici GP26, was close behind, securing the second-fastest time with a 1:21.382.

Perhaps one of the most notable performances came from Toprak Razgatlioglu. The Turkish rider, piloting his Prima Pramac Yamaha YZR-M1, finished third with a 1:21.565. His strong showing in the rain-affected session ensured his direct progression to Q2, marking an impressive start to the weekend.

Rounding out the top five were Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) in fourth and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) in fifth. Meanwhile, Thai GP winner Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing) faced a tougher day, finishing P20 and heading for Q1.
